THE LOCAL AREA

Just 2 km from the West Cape boat ramp and jetty, and a 15 min walk through the coastal bush and heath land to a secluded section of surf beach.

There is a walking track to the beach which follows the coastal bush and heath land and comes to the area where Conran Creek meets the sea. At some times of year you will find some fresh water swimming holes, you will always find a secluded area of beach, there are also numerous bush tracks to explore. There is also a walk track through the bush and back via the property boundary.

West Cape Cabins Retreat are home to many natural wonders, from the local sea eagles soaring overhead or the fantastic array of birds feeding at the bird feeders at each cabin. Goannas, grey kangaroos and Wallabies abound the place amongst the resident Ostriches and farm animals. The area is known for its wild beauty, spectacular coastline, diverse flora and fauna, abundant bird life, tremendous fishing , diving, snorkelling and natural bush.

With sand, surf, rivers, heathland, banksia woodlands and the ocean, visitors have the option to sit back and enjoy the magnificent views and tranquillity of the area or participate in one of the many activities available.
